Sweet review by an SCBWI someone who was there from page 1

SCBWI (Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators) provides a plethora of benefits for any with a desire or a passion for writing or illustrating children’s books. Heck, you just might get published !!!

(Note on plethora: I’ve been waiting to use this ever since the movie “The Three Amigos.”) And that’s a little bit of advise I can give anyone interested in storytelling. Keep those words, characters, scenes, ideas, metaphors, jokes and/or funny life moments tucked away in your head, a file cabinet or if you’re like me, sticky notes everywhere. You never know when you’ll need to “insert something interesting happens here” in that story you’re attempting to craft.

This review by an SCBWI colleague Virginia McGee Butler for both me and illustrator, Sarah Gramelspacher, demonstrates how if you stick with it and use the resources of SCBWI … who knows what can happen.
